Explore the UNESCO-listed Thingvellir National Park with your private driver-guide. Walk through its dramatic rift landscape and learn how the Althing general assembly was established here around 930, making it one of Iceland’s most important historical sites.

Visit Oxararfoss, a 12.5-meter waterfall that drops into Almannagja in Thingvellir National Park. Enjoy the dramatic surroundings and take time for memorable photos of the waterfall.

Take a short walk to Bruarfoss, known for its striking clear blue water. See the Bruara River narrow through a gorge before forming the waterfall, and enjoy time for photos in the beautiful natural surroundings.

Visit Efstidalur II, a historic family-run dairy farm on the Golden Circle. Get a glimpse of Icelandic farm life, watch the cows through the viewing windows, and, if you wish, purchase homemade ice cream produced at the farm. Food and drinks are not included.

Explore the Geysir Geothermal Area, with its steaming vents, hot springs, and other geothermal features. Watch the active Strokkur geyser erupt approximately every ten minutes while your private guide explains the area’s geology and the story of the mostly inactive Great Geysir.

See the powerful Gullfoss waterfall as the glacial Hvita River drops 32 meters in two stages into a dramatic canyon. Visit the viewpoints, enjoy time for photos, and hear the story of one of the Golden Circle’s most famous natural landmarks.

Visit Fridheimar, a family-run farm where tomatoes are grown year-round in geothermal greenhouses. See the tomato plants surrounding the greenhouse restaurant and learn about Icelandic greenhouse farming. Guests may purchase food and drinks at their own expense.

Visit Kerid, a volcanic crater with striking red slopes and a lake at its base. Walk along the crater rim for panoramic views and, when conditions allow, follow the path toward the lake. The entrance fee is included.

Stop in Hveragerdi, a town built in an active geothermal area where columns of steam can often be seen rising among the homes and greenhouses. Learn how geothermal activity has shaped the town and take a short walk before returning to Reykjavik.
