About this experience
This is one of the most popular routes in Iceland and for apparent reason.. there is a lot of different landscapes close to each other.
We'll take you for a journey where you'll see one of the most beautiful non tropical beaches with black sand, we'll drive next to one of them most powerful volcanoes - including famous Eyjafjallajökull that has paralysed sky traffic during it's eruption at 2010. You'll be shown visible proof to climate changes one of Mýrdalsjökull glacier tongues that is melting rapidly.
We'll visit one of the biggest waterfalls in country that was a site for few film sets and then we would drive to another 2 waterfalls where af first we would walk behind one of them and then we would get in to a a small canyon to see another one. If you'll need more time to take pictures don't worry we don't rush so you have time to enjoy the views.

Itinerary and highlights
One of the world's best non tropical beaches, with black sand, powerful waves and amazing basalt formations. Place where beauty beach meets the ocean beast.
Dyrhólaey was once a volcanic Island. It was at the time when Iceland south coast was 120 m lower than it is right now. Best glaciers and black sand beach views, with lots of puffins in the summer.
Part of bigger Mýrdalsjökull glacier, so called climate glacier which reacts quickly to any climate changes, since 1930 it has retreated almost 1km.
One of the biggest and best knows Icelandic waterfalls. Dropping down straight from the edge of cliff that once was old coastline. Good place to talk about roles of volcanoes and glaciers on shaping Iceland as well as about numerous film scenes recorded at this spot.
Walk the path behind 60 m Angel falls and get a chance to take a look at the world from a slightly different perspective. Especially beautiful at sunset.
Þórsmörk is a picturesque valley that cuts in between volcanoes. It’s one of the gateways to Icelandic interior. Place that often gets powerful floods, where you can see the true power of nature.
