Step into a luxury Mercedes Minivan and in just half an hour from Reykjavik you can be out in the volcanoes and enjoying breathtaking views. Itinerary and highlights

A geothermal area with bubbling hot springs and fumaroles and the smell of sulfur in the air. A great place where you get unusually close to the boiling mud pits.

A beautiful mountain lake up in the Volcanoes of Reykjanes peninsula.

A charming fishing town where we have several options for refreshments and restroom stops.

A wonderful and informative museum built around a Viking Ship that was built to sail from Iceland to Greenland and North America on the 1000th anniversary of Leif Eriksson finding America. The admission fee is around 20 US$.

As an optional activity, you can visit the famous Blue Lagoon and enjoy a relaxing soak in its silica-rich waters.

Meeting and pickup information

  • The tour starts with a 50 minutes long documentary at the Volcano House. After that, we head off in a luxury 4x4 to explore the volcano system closest to Reykjavik. A wonderful tour with incredible landscapes.
