WHAT MAKES THE NORTHERN LIGHTS ?Northern Lights or Aurora borealis are created by collisions of oxygen and nitrogen atoms in the Earth’s atmosphere with the electrons released by the sun during geomagnetic storms, making them notoriously difficult to predict with even state-of-the-art meteorological equipment. In Icelandic tradition their appearance was associated with the ride of the Valkyries, while Greeks and Romans believed that it was the sister of Helios the Sun God riding a multi-colored chariot across the sky and expectant Icelandic mothers refused to look at their beauty, because their beauty was so profound that it would cause the baby to be born cross-eyed.

Itinerary and highlights
We will pick you from your chosen hotel and take you for a custom Aurora chase. Location will be chosen by your guide at the day of the operation and based on weather forecast. After you see this beatufull nature creation we will drop you back to your hotel.
